We have gotten reports of email sent to our customers that look like they are coming from SnowCrest but are not. The emails are asking for our customers user name and password. This is a scam and not Email from SnowCrest Inc. SnowCrest will never ask for your user name or password in Email. If you did reply to this email thinking it was SnowCrest please call us and change your password.

We have added a new anti-spam measure, called greylisting, to our incoming mail servers. Greylisting works by delaying mail from addresses the server has never seen before for a few minutes before the server will accept it. This is effective against spam because most spam sources do not try to send the mail again, but legitimate sources will. This technique will not cause you to lose any mail, but some mail may be delayed. You can use the mail control panel to turn greylisting on and off for your account.
